MyDiary (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how it is used.
Information We Handle
MyDiary is a personal diary app. The App may handle the following information:
- Diary entries you create, including text, dates, photos, weather, and location information you choose to attach.
- Photos you add to diary entries.
- Location information, if you grant location permission, to attach place and weather details to diary entries.
- Contacts you choose as emergency contacts.
- App usage and crash diagnostic information collected through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
- Weather request information, including location coordinates, sent to OpenWeatherMap to retrieve weather data.
How Your Information Is Used
Your information is used to:
- Save and display your diary entries.
- Sync your diary data through Apple iCloud/CloudKit when available.
- Attach location and weather information to diary entries.
- Let you select emergency contacts.
- Improve app stability and understand crashes or technical issues.
Diary Data and iCloud
Your diary entries are stored on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled and available, diary data may be synced using Apple iCloud/CloudKit under your Apple ID.
We do not operate our own server for storing your diary entries. Your iCloud data is handled by Apple according to Apple’s privacy terms.
